For the Institut für Rundfunktechnik I worked from 1988 until 1995.
During this period, I've worked on the following topic:

• Development of an empirical model for the prediction of radio coverage under consideration of topography data.
• Implementation of this model in C.
• Development of a program to measure fieldstrength emitted from different transmitters over a long period of time.
  
• Development of a software package for the visualisation of these measurements.
• Tuning of parameters of the prediction model with respect to the mearusements.
• Development of a program for the relief display of the topography data.
  Colorisation of these terrain depictions according to the fieldstrength delivered by a transmitter.
• After changing to the image processing department :
  Development of a driver for controlling a picture memory card under Linux.
  Different programs for the conversion of image data.
